👷♀️ I'm pretty sure that if you work in Construction you will have at some point experienced the blame game! 👷♀️
When something goes wrong, naturally the first question is that “Whose fault is it?” When coordination issues arise it’s the Architect’s fault for not submitting enough details or when the programme slips its Builders fault for a lack of control with the subbies etc.
To lesson this blame culture it is important to ensure 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 within your project. Through effective Document Control you can find the trail of what happened on a document or project at any given moment e.g. date issued, previous versions, comments made, who viewed, modified or approved documents etc.
This leads to a system of accountability & collaboration!
